Triple distilled, extra smooth, aged for 24 months in new French oak barrels, 100% puro de agave, 96 proof.

Revel Avila® is made from 100% Weber Blue Agave and triple-distilled with no additives or added sugars. Our flagship Avila® combines the process of Tequila and the characteristics of Mezcal, by utilizing the dual cooking methods of both smoking and steaming the agave.

Our 24-month aged añejo is truly a labor of love - having been perfected over many years by our master distiller. The results are a complex and beautifully intense spirit, made to be sipped neat. Take your time with it, as each sip evolves from front to finish, and always enjoy it with good company.

Bottle Size: 750ml

Please Drink Responsibly.

Tasting Notes

Notes of oak and barrel char are initially pronounced.

Toasted coconut and almond are released, with subtle notes of weak coffee.

A beautifully complex mix of cardamom and black pepper melds with black tea and a hint of vanilla.

A bold, earthy finish is reminiscent of a fine congnac and holds a rich, open aftertaste.

"Not only is the Añejo aged for a full twenty-four months, but it is aged in French oak. It is an extra step in effort, time, and cost that really shows attention to detail. And that attention pays off nicely." -

Serving Suggestions

Revel Avila Añejo is made to be sipped neat and can be complimented with food pairings like cinnamon and toffee crusted almonds or⁣ dark chocolate and sea salt⁣.

  • Old School Roasting

Revel Spirit's piñas are thrown into a pit filled with volcanic rock from a local “active” volcano, then covered with sand and leaves. The piña bulbs are roasted for 48 hours covered, and another 24 hours uncovered. A pipe is inserted into the middle to release smoke so it’s less smoky than Mezcal.

  • New Shcool Steaming & Blending

We also use new school methods (steaming), traditionally used for Tequila. Then, both the steamed and roasted Piñas are blended together for the fermentation process – this makes us unique, giving us a different flavor.
