Triple distilled, extra smooth, unaged, 100% puro de agave, 80 proof.

Revel Avila® is made from 100% Weber Blue Agave and triple distilled with no additives or added sugars. Our flagship Avila® combines the process of Tequila and the characteristics of Mezcal, by utilizing the dual cooking methods of both smoking and steaming the agave.

Revel Avila Blanco is unaged and offers an agave-rich mouth-feel, with notes of citrus zest - finishing clean, warm and herbal. Serve neat, on the rocks with a squeeze of lime, or in a fresh, citrusy classic like a Paloma or Margarita.

Bottle Size: 750ml

"Avila is not quite as smoky or intense as most mezcals, but more interesting than a tequila. It’s the perfect bridge to a more complex, smokey agave spirit." - Barcademy

3-4 Drops of Peychauds Bitters

Garnish: Basil leaf and dehydrated lime wheel

  • Old School Roasting

Revel Spirit's piñas are thrown into a pit filled with volcanic rock from a local “active” volcano, then covered with sand and leaves. The piña bulbs are roasted for 48 hours covered, and another 24 hours uncovered. A pipe is inserted into the middle to release smoke so it’s less smoky than Mezcal.

  • New Shcool Steaming & Blending

We also use new school methods (steaming), traditionally used for Tequila. Then, both the steamed and roasted Piñas are blended together for the fermentation process – this makes us unique, giving us a different flavor.
