Triple distilled, extra smooth, aged for 12 months in American white oak barrels, 100% puro de agave, 80 proof.

Revel Avila® is made from 100% Weber Blue Agave and triple distilled with no additives or added sugars. Our flagship Avila® combines the process of Tequila and the characteristics of Mezcal, by utilizing the dual cooking methods of both smoking and steaming the agave.

Revel Reposado is a multi-award-winning Avila - most notably being named 2018's "Reposado of the Year" by the San Francisco International Spirits Competition. This wonderfully layered Avila has been aged for 12 months in charred oak, giving it a burnished gold hue and notes of cooked banana and Sandalwood. Serve it neat, on a large rock, or in a simple, spirit-forward cocktail like an Old Fashioned.

Bottle Size: 750ml

Please Drink Responsibly.

Tasting Notes

A refined, lingering smoke from the charred oak barrels is introduced first.

Notes of black-peppered toffee and butterscotch are released.

Bergamot, lime and orange peel are accompanied by subtle, spicy sandalwood.

The lingering finish of fresh agave and finely grained tannins hit the toungue with a rich texture.

Serving Suggestions

Avila Old Fashioned

2.5 oz Revel Avila Reposado
.25 oz agave nectar
2 dashes of grapefruit bitters

Build in double old fashioned glass and stir until properly diluted, top with fresh ice

Garnish: lemon twist

  • Old School Roasting

Revel Spirit's piñas are thrown into a pit filled with volcanic rock from a local “active” volcano, then covered with sand and leaves. The piña bulbs are roasted for 48 hours covered, and another 24 hours uncovered. A pipe is inserted into the middle to release smoke so it’s less smoky than Mezcal.

  • New Shcool Steaming & Blending

We also use new school methods (steaming), traditionally used for Tequila. Then, both the steamed and roasted Piñas are blended together for the fermentation process – this makes us unique, giving us a different flavor.
